The speed of our ride-on cars depends on the model, battery power, and the type of surface they’re driven on.

  • 6-volt cars are ideal for younger children aged 2 to 4 years. They work best on flat, hard surfaces and reach speeds of around 2–3 mph.

  • 12-volt cars are the most popular option, suitable for ages 3 to 6 years. They perform well on smooth surfaces and can also handle short, well-cut grass, reaching speeds of approximately 3–5 mph.

  • 24-volt cars and buggies are the most powerful, designed for children aged 3 to 8 years. With rubber wheels for extra traction, they can easily handle grass, gravel, and flat surfaces, achieving speeds of about 4–6 mph.

Most of our kids’ electric cars come with some charge already in the battery. For the first charge, we recommend charging it for about 10 hours to ensure the battery is fully conditioned.

After the initial charge, follow these general guidelines:

  • 6V cars: Charge for around 6 hours

  • 12V cars: Charge for around 8 hours

  • 24V cars or buggies: Charge for around 10 hours

⚠️ Important: Avoid leaving the charger plugged in overnight or for extended periods, as this is not recommended for any electronic device.

A full charge typically provides 1–2 hours of driving time, depending on usage and terrain. Most children tend to stop and start while playing, so the charge may last a bit longer in practice.

If you plan to store the car for a while, make sure to recharge the battery every 2–3 weeks, even if it’s not being used. This helps maintain battery health and performance.

Yes, the cars do require some assembly. Each car comes with instructions and basic tools to guide you through the process.

All cars come with detailed instructions. Assembly typically involves attaching the wheels, securing the seat, and fitting the steering wheel. Some models may require a little more assembly than others, as it varies depending on the specific car.

All our kids’ ride-on cars come with a Bluetooth remote control for easy pairing and safe operation.

Pairing the remote is simple:

  1. Turn off the power on the car.

  2. Insert the batteries into the remote.

  3. Press the pairing buttons — either the forward and reverse buttons together or the Bluetooth button, depending on your remote model (check the instructions printed on the back of the remote or box).

  4. The indicator lights on the remote will start flashing.

  5. Turn the car’s power back on. The lights will stop flashing and remain solid — this means the remote is successfully paired.

You can now use the remote to control the car.

Every car is power-checked in-store before dispatch, so if your car doesn’t power on, it’s usually due to a loose or disconnected wire.

Please check under the seat to make sure all cables are securely connected to the battery and motors, and that there are no loose wires.

If everything looks properly connected and the car still doesn’t power on (rare), please contact us and our team will be happy to help.

This is an easy fix — simply swap the motors connected to the wheels. This will resolve the issue quickly.

Yes, both parents and children have been known to lose or misplace chargers or remotes, which is why we keep a good range of spare parts. Contact us and we'll replace the missing part as soon as possible.
